Warwick Synchro, Rhode Island’s only competitive synchronized skating program, is making waves—literally and figuratively! Featured in the latest issue of The Rhode Island Wave, the club’s story is one of resilience, teamwork, and triumph against the odds.
Medals and Milestones
At the 2025 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic, Warwick Synchro teams faced stiff competition from more than 145 teams across the country. Despite significant challenges with limited ice time, our skaters delivered outstanding performances:
- Preliminary Team – Silver Medal
- Aspire 4 Team – Silver Medal
- Aspire 2 Team – Gold Medal
- Aspire 1 Team – Bronze Medal
- Open Juvenile Black Team – 8th Place
- Open Juvenile Blue Team – 11th Place
These results are a testament to the dedication of our athletes, coaches, and families who worked tirelessly to keep the program thriving.
Overcoming Challenges
Head Coach Kristine Wilkinson shared:
“This has been very difficult preparing its teams for competition lately with limited ice time. I am so proud of our skaters’ dedication to the sport as they sought out additional ice throughout the region.”
The club’s motto, “No Ice, No Problem,” perfectly captures the spirit of perseverance that defines Warwick Synchro. When faced with rink closures and scheduling hurdles, the teams adapted, trained creatively, and never lost sight of their goals.

Warwick Synchro isn’t stopping here. Next up: the New England Synchro Classic at The Skating Club of Boston! This event will bring together top teams from across the region, and Warwick Synchro is ready to shine once again.
