Cost and Buy-on Process

Many of our skaters choose to contract the ice, which is available on a first-come, first served basis. We allow a maximum of 20 skaters per session.

Buy-on process

  1. All skaters must pay prior to stepping on the ice and must check in with the music monitor.
  2. Provide full name to music monitor or a coach if there is no music monitor present.
  3. The cost for an individual to buy-on to a session is currently $25.00. Skater must pay the fee via through Cheddar Up.
  4. Figure Skates only.
  5. If guest skater, show proof of USFSA membership.
  6. For above basics sessions skater must have passed free skate 4.

Above Basics Music and Attendance Monitor Fee

The Music and attendance Monitor fee indicated below will be included in the total payment for any skater contracting Above Basics ice during one of the sessions (Fall/Winter, Spring, Summer). The fee is charged once per family. It will be credited back to your account at the conclusion of the session if you take attendance and play music the required number of times per family during a given session. If you exceed the required number of times during the session, buy-on vouchers will be provided for each additional time in excess of the required, not to exceed the maximum indicated. These vouchers can be used during any session where there is space.

  • Summer:
    • Music/Monitor Fee – $50.00
    • Required: Sign-up to play music 2 times
    • May earn 5 additional vouchers if you exceed the required 2 times during the session.
  • Spring:
    • Music/Monitor Fee – $50.00
    • Required: Sign-up to play music 2 times
    • May earn 5 additional vouchers if you exceed the required 2 times during the session.
  • Fall/Winter:
    • Music/Monitor Fee – $100.00
    • Required: Sign-up to play music 5 times
    • May earn 10 additional vouchers if you exceed the required 5 times during the session.

As a reminder, Above Basics Music & Attendance monitoring DOES NOT COUNT TOWARDS YOUR SERVICE HOURS.

Music and Attendance Monitor Signup:

A link will be provided via club email when the session sign-up opens to allow you to sign-up for music slots. Families are only allowed to sign-up for the minimum required slots, any more will be deleted. When the session starts, the list will be posted at the rink and families can sign up for additional slots to earn vouchers.
