Costumes for each group number (except the competitor’s number and senior number) are included in your registration fees. They are ordered through the Competitor’s Closet at 3055 West Shore Road in Warwick. You will need to bring your child there to be measured. Please do this as soon as you send in your application. Failure to do so may result in a costume that does not fit properly. No refunds will be issued.

Practices:

Show practices will begin after the conclusion of Winter Learn to Skate Sessions. There will be 3 practices for each group. Please make every effort to attend all 3 practices in fairness to all skaters and coaches involved. Parent Pass:

All skaters will be provided a parent pass at dress rehearsal during check in. The ticket has your child’s name and group number. It is extremely important that you have your Parent Pass with you and do not lose it, you will need it to pick up your child at the security drop-off point after each Saturday performance. A parent or legal guardian is expected to remain on premises throughout dress rehearsal and each show performance.

Volunteer Hours and SkateSafe

To ensure the safety of all participants, only skaters and SkateSafe-certified individuals are allowed in locker rooms, in the stands with skater groups, and behind the security check point – absolutely no exceptions. SkateSafe-certified individuals are available to assist skaters as necessary.

Each Above Basic family is required to volunteer a total of 4 hours per contractual year. WFS offers 2 events to fulfill this requirement,  the Annual Show (spring) and the Holiday Show (winter). The Annual Show is your last chance to fulfill your contractual volunteer obligations. A volunteer sign up will be released for the Annual Show in the coming weeks via email.

Interested in becoming a SkateSafe Certified volunteer? Contact the volunteer coordinator charlottetalley@gmail.com

Families interested in monitoring their child’s group backstage MUST be SkateSafe certified.
